haha who knew you could actually make something other than plain rice in a rice cooker! peter, mae and i experimented and came up with this "recipe":
short grain brown rice
chicken broth (about 1.5 cups for every cup of rice)
yellow onions
garlic
chicken
can of tomatoes
spinach
turkey sausage (could do w/o this)
oregano, basil, salt and pepper
basically you just throw everything (raw) into the rice cooker, and then after 30-45 minutes....an entire meal appears!
