will, tammy, peter and i took a short overnight trip to portland over the weekend. will got us a steal at the newly renovated hotel fifty in downtown portland, we had breakfast at mother's bistro (where every mug says "call your mother"), and then we did some tax-free shopping in the pearl district and lloyd center mall. finally we had dinner at papa haydn which ended in some awesome cake. =)
