while in vancouver this past weekend, we visited the richmond olympic oval and got to see the skating rink. i am a little nervous for the city because the roads and buildings all looked like there was a LOT of work to be done...i hope they're ready for the olympics in a couple months!!!

haha has anyone commented that this is a super awkward looking photo? :) do you know, i asked lawrence to give me a very detailed play by play of the trip and he didn't mention seeing any of the olympic stuff at all!
now that i look at it - the photo is quite awkward. =) maybe he forgot that he visited the rink because it wasn't all that exciting.....haha. i wonder what else he left out.
