i've been wanting to make a picnic blanket for some time now, so i finally made one this week as a gift for tammy's bridal shower. i used a black + white checkered oilcloth for one side, and a yellow patterned fleece for the other. it's about 40"x40" - which turns out to be quite a tight squeeze for 2 people to sit on....but it works. =) i also found some cute vintage mugs that match perfectly!
