we went to a wedding in the little town of geneva, illinois (about an hour outside of chicago). but we also got to spend a lot of time in the city. it was so sunny (i had almost forgotten it was summer because of the weather in seattle lately...) but it rained + thundered like crazy the last day. i must say i'm not a fan of deep dish pizza, but we went to this one place - chicago pizza + oven grinder - and the pizza was amazing! sort of like a upside-down pizza pot pie. yum.
