it's been a tradition in my mom's family to make + eat dumplings on chinese new year's eve. so tonight, even though i had class and my parents went to prayer meeting, my mom + grandma got home at 9:30pm and still made fresh dumplings so we could eat them together! i must say, they were some of the BEST dumplings i have ever had...every single bite was amazing. my dad and i also chopped up a bunch of raw garlic and ate it with every bite. =) some day...i hope i'll be able to make dumplings like that....happy new year!
