yum! brussel sprouts!! haha they look a bit like mini brains...but i was inspired by this recipe to eat them more. you just boil them for 4 minutes and then saute them with olive oil + mustard (i'm going to add some garlic too).
i also recently got these tiny salts from sugarpill - a little store up on capitol hill that sells a million different salts/spices and herby things. i had a $15 coupon from idealnetwork when they ran a deal a while ago, so i decided on these little tins to sample a bunch of different kinds. the truffle salt smells sooo good - i want to just pinch it up and eat it plain. and i got some other ones that are supposed to be good on salmon and chicken and veggies. i dunno if it really makes that big of a difference, but there are entire books written just about the awesomeness of salt - and we did cook some steaks rubbed with the truffle salt that turned out much better than normal......so i guess it works. =)
