my first smart phone - ever. it's like a whole new world has just been opened up to me. =)
luckily i didn't have to stand in a ridiculously long line. we drove by the sprint store around 7:30am and there was a tiny line of maybe 10 people outside the door, so we drove to bell square to check out if there was a line for the apple store. couldn't really find the line.....(although later we heard it had started to form around 9:45pm last night!) so we made a quick pit stop at starbucks and went back to the sprint store around 7:45am (still 10 people in line + a dog). the sprint employees did all our paperwork + payment beforehand so that right at 8am sharp, all they had to do was hand out all the iphones. super organized and fast!
now i need to find a purple case and hope that i don't break it. applecare+ might be worth it....

i got mine yesterday too! the speck cases are nice... have padding inside but not too bulky. i almost got a purple one but ended up with the white.
welcome to the world of the smartphone btw :) although i'm sure you will miss the "click" from the opening/closing flip phone :)
I got a moshi case - its pretty slim so no padding. but I like it!
