here is my finished headband! it really didn't take me that long to make - it just took me a long time to post these pictures. so it's basically a metal headband wrapped in metallic gold ribbon with chains of feathers and a couple beads on each end. the idea is that it sort of looks like earrings when you're wearing the headband. peter says i look like an indian chief when i wear it and that i should carry around a sword (sorry - that is so politically incorrect), but it's really not that tacky if the feathers sort of just peek out a bit from behind your hair.
anyways! the real part of this homework is that we have to make a spec sheet - basically what we would send along with the actual sample to the factory. next up, we are making leather cuffs!
