i made a simple tote to try out this fabric (it actually might be microfiber, not suede...who knows?) and lined it with some grey + white striped cotton. it was a bit plain, so i tried using some shiny grommets for the first time to attach the handles (i want to get some thin leather straps....just need to find them first) i didn't have any tools, so i made friends with some ladies from mae's mom's sewing club who helped me with the holes! =) i also got some new zippers to sew a couple more clutches.

anyways...yea just get a sewing machine and give it a whirl! i bet you can figure out a lot of things on your own and by reading blogs/tutorials. =) what kinda stuff do you wanna make??
