cake + macarons
i decided to bake this chocolate peanut butter cake a couple days ago, and then tonight we're having some people over and it happens to be j.chen's birthday - so this cake is for him. the good thing about this cake is that you can freeze the layers (for easier handling) ahead of time and then just frost it the day of! i left off the extra layer of chocolate on the top....because i was lazy and because it would of been sugar overload. we'll see how it tastes later!
