big sur

so....the timing of our trip was a little off. by the time we started driving toward big sur (which is basically a 90-mile stretch of coastline south of carmel) it was already starting to get dark so we didn't get to see the awesome views for very long (awesome views = steep drops down to the ocean as you're winding along super high cliffs). this is the only picture i got from inside the car as we were driving along after sunset. there's really not much along the way, and by the time we got to the big sur bakery for dinner, it was pitch black everywhere. it seems like a cool place to go camping though!
