i am a little behind on the posting lately....but about one month ago - i had some visitors! chris + justine had planned to visit a while back with peter. but little did i know that jenn + ld + mae had also planned to come as a surprise! it was such a fun weekend which ended in a wonderful mini-engagement celebration dinner at perry st the night before everyone had to leave.
we packed a lot into the long weekend:
- on friday we went to lunch at junoon and then all went to watch the vow in theaters (so emotional!) before heading over to the east village for some pasta at paprika and pudding from....puddin'.
- on saturday wilbur + bohee took us to bar tabac in brooklyn for brunch and then we visited one girl cookies right next door. we also did some shopping and stopped by steven alan on the way to the brooklyn flea and visited the apc store in soho. we watched godspell after eating sushi at some place i can't remember (we really wanted to go to sushi yasuda, but i guess you need a reservation WAY in advance) and somehow ended the night with some halal cart and magnolia bakery goodies (i especially love the blueberry jamboree).
- on sunday we picked up some pastries from financier and grabbed some coffee at jack's (the best coffee i've had in nyc!) before visiting cathy + noah's new place, tried some pizza at pizza suprema, shopped around some more before our dinner at perry st, and ended the night with some artichoke pizza.
- on monday morning we stopped by made fresh daily for lunch and then walked the brooklyn bridge (only halfway) before i had to go to class and mostly everyone went home.
