we finally did it - we decided to list our apartment on airbnb! click here to see our listing. i'm still a little skeptical (i don't want to get arrested!) but one perk is that airbnb sends over a professional photographer to take pictures of your apartment for free! we didn't have much to style with, but to make it look neat + tidy, we basically stuffed everything into our closet right before the shoot.
the plan for now is for us to take a trip somewhere every weekend that our apartment gets booked. so maybe i'll get to go home on random weekends. as you can see from the pictures, we don't have much hanging on the walls - so i think i'm going to attempt some painting this weekend. welcome to our home!

Steph, I think AirBNB is not allowed in New York. Like it's sort of an illegal type of subletting.
yea - it's a bit unclear whether it's illegal or not? especially because there are SO many listings in nyc!
